WORD OF THE LORD FOR THE NATION OF FIJI

  

FIJI YOU HAVE FORSAKEN YOUR GOD

Hear ye the Word of the Lord:

"I remember how eager you were to please ME as a young bride long ago.

How you loved ME and followed ME even through the barren wilderness.

In those days this nation was holy to the LORD And all who harmed MY people were considered guilty and disaster fell upon them."

Listen to the Word of the Lord; this is what the Lord says:

"What sin did your fathers find in ME that led them to stray so far from ME?"

They worshipped foolish idols (gods) only to become foolish themselves. They did not ask "Where is the Lord who brought us safely out of our land of bondage and led us through the wilderness."

I brought you into a fruitful land to enjoy its bounty and goodness but you defiled and corrupted the inheritance I had promised you.

Your priests did not ask "Where is the Lord?"

Your judges ignored ME

Your leaders turned against ME

And prophets spoke in the name of Baal wasting their time on nonsense.

Therefore, I AM bringing MY case against you and will keep on accusing you even against your children's children, for the Lord has spoken.

Has any nation ever exchanged its gods for another god, even though its gods are nothing? Yet MY people have exchanged their Glorious True Living God for worthless idols. The heavens are shocked at such a thing and shrink back in horror and dismay, says the Lord.

For MY people have done two evil things:

"They have forsaken ME the fountain of Living Water

And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water."

Why has this nation become a nation of slaves?

Why has she been carried away as plunder?

Lions have roared against her

The land has been destroyed

The cities lie in ruins Foreign nations have invaded your cities and have utterly destroyed this nation's glory and power And MY people have brought this upon themselves by breaking Covenant with ME and rebelling against the Lord Your God when He wanted to lead you and to show you the way! What have you gained from your alliances with foreign nations, following after their gods and pursuing after their ways? What good has it done to you?

You have forsaken ME

You have committed spiritual adultery and have played a harlot easily seduced and lured away because of your lusting after wealth and riches and lusting after the things of this world!

You say: "We haven't worshipped the images of Baal. But how can you say that?

You are like a wild donkey sniffing the wind at mating time. Who can restrain your lust? Those who desire you do not even need to search, for you come running to them Why do you refuse to turn away from all this running after foreign gods? Is it because you have fallen in love with these foreign gods and you can't stop loving them now?' Your own evil ways and practices will punish them. You will see what an evil bitter thing it is to forsake the Lord, the Lord Almighty have spoken. Long ago I broke your yoke and tore away the chains of your slavery but still you would not obey ME. On every hill and under green tree you have prostituted yourselves by bowing down to idols. How could this happen? When I planted you I chose a vine of the purest stock - the very best! How did you grow into this corrupt wild untamed vine?

Oh MY people listen to the Word of the Lord:

"Have I been like a desert to you?

Have I been to you a land of darkness?

Why then have you trusted in man, trusted in their words, trusted in their schemes, trusted in their ways?

Why have you feared men more than fearing ME

Why have you not believed in ME, believed in My Word and in MY promises to you?

Time and time again I sent you MY prophets who have spoken My word but you have not heeded the words of MY prophets who spoke MY words intended to instruct you in the way you should go. Words intended to provide you direction and provide you guidance so that you would obey ME and walk in MY ways. But you have become too accustomed to following after your own ways and following after your own desires and the ways of foreign nations.

You have formed alliances which are NOT of ME but they will let you down for the Lord has rejected the nations you trust. You will not succeed despite their help.

Did I not show you the "Way Forward?"

Did I not declare that your 1997 Constitution will be the "root of all evil" in this nation?

Did not your multi-party concept fail you?

Know this, this land is mine, this land belongs to ME. This is the land I gave to My Covenant people, the land I gave to your forefathers, it is your land of inheritance but you have defiled the land by straying from me and bowing down to foreign gods. I am the Lord who has commanded you that "Thou shalt have no other gods before ME". I share not MY Glory with another. I Am the Lord who created the heavens and the earth and only My divine plan and purpose for this land shall come to pass. Anything conceived in the dark and without MY consent shall come to nought.

Does not MY Word declare?

"Many are the plans in a man's heart but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails" "All a man's ways seem right to him but the Lord weighs the heart" "There is no wisdom, no insight, and no plan that can succeed against the Lord"

"Devise your strategy but it will be thwarted, propose your plan but it will not stand for God is with us" Therefore, take heed you rulers, you leaders, you priests and all peoples of the land. Hear ye the Word of the Lord:

"Let not the wise men boast of His wisdom Or the strong man boasts of his strength Or the rich man boasts of his riches But let him who boasts, boast of this" that he understands and knows ME.

That I am the Lord who exercises kindness, justice, truth and righteousness on earth for in these I delight, declares the Lord"

TO THE PRESIDENT OF FIJI AND TO THE INTERIM PRIME MINISTER

Hear ye the Word of the Lord: "God has numbered your kingdom and has finished it. You have been weighed in the balance and found wanting"

The Lord has this against you:

"Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Therefore, the wrath of the Lord is upon you".

"You have transgressed MY COVENANT and rebelled against My law.

You have rejected the good.

You have set up rulers and leaders but not by MY consent.

You have made rulers but I do not acknowledge them.

And My anger is aroused against them".

And The Lord brings this charge against you and the inhabitants of the land:

"THERE IS NO TRUTH OR MERCY OR KNOWLEDGE OF GOD IN THE LAND"

The Lord stands by His Covenant The commitment He made to a thousand generations.

This is the Covenant He made with Abraham and the oath He swore to Isaac.

He confirmed it to Jacob as a DECREE to the people of Israel (Fiji as spiritual Israel) as a never-ending treaty.

"I will give you the Land of Canaan (Your spiritual inheritance - The Kingdom of God) As your special possession"

Yet He did not let anyone oppress them.

He warned kings on their behalf.

"Do not touch these people I have chosen and do not hurt My Prophets"

For The Lord remembered His sacred Promise to Abraham His Servant So He brought His people out of Egypt with joy. His chosen ones with rejoicing.

All these happened so they would follow His Principles and obey His laws.

THEREFORE, KNOW THIS DAY, that

"I have surely seen the oppression of MY people and have heard their cry because of their cruel taskmasters for I know their sorrows so I am coming down to deliver them out of the hands of their oppressors and to establish them in their land that I gave to their forefathers as an inheritance"

"Now, behold, the cry of MY people has come to ME and I have also seen the oppression with which their captors have oppressed them"

"And I am sending forth My Messenger of the Covenant to command you to:

"LET MY PEOPLE GO!"

And just as the Lord spoke to Moses, once again He is speaking to His people today saying: "NOW you will see what I will do to Pharaoh: Because of My Mighty Hand he will let them go; because of My Mighty Hand he will drive them out of his country"

"I am the Lord, I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty but by MY NAME, THE LORD, I did not make Myself known to them. I also established MY Covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan where they lived as aliens. Moreover, I have heard the groaning of MY people whom the Egyptians are enslaving and I have remembered My Covenant. Therefore, say to My people, I am the Lord and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians (oppressors of God's people). I will free you from being slaves to them and I will REDEEM you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. I will take you as MY own people and I WILL BE YOUR GOD. Then you will know that I AM the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians and I will bring you to the land I swore with uplifted hand to give to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob.

I WILL GIVE IT TO YOU AS A POSSESSION.I AM THE LORD".

And the Lord declares:

"Woe to those who devise iniquity And work evil on their beds

At morning light they practice it Because it is in the power of their hand!

They covet fields and lands And take them by violence Also houses and seize them

So they oppress a man and his house A man and his inheritance"

But the Lord says:

"I will reward your evil with evil. You won't be able to escape. After I am through with you none of you will ever walk proudly in the streets"

To the people of God and all Peoples' of this nation the Lord would say:

"RETURN TO ME AND I WILL RETURN TO YOU, says the Lord of Hosts

"RETURN faithless people, declares the Lord

I will frown on you no longer, for I am merciful, declares the Lord.

I will not be angry forever.

Only acknowledge your guilt, you have rebelled against the Lord Your God

You have scattered your favors to foreign gods. Under every spreading tree and have not obeyed ME, declares the Lord."

"Return faithless people, declares the Lord for I am your husband.

I will choose you, one from a town and two from a clan and bring you to Zion.

Then I will give you shepherds after MY own heart.Who will lead you with knowledge and understanding?"

"I myself said how glad would I treat you like sons and give you a desirable land the most beautiful inheritance of any nation. I thought you would call me Father and not turn away from following ME but like a woman unfaithful to her husband, so you have been unfaithful to me, declares the Lord"

"Return faithless people, I will cure you of your backsliding"

"Return to ME and Repent and I will repair your walls"

"Come and let us return to the Lord.For He has torn us, but HE will heal us."

"He has stricken us but He will bind us up.

After two days He will revive us

On the THIRD DAY He will restore us

That we may live in His presence"

"Let us acknowledge the Lord.Let us press on to acknowledge Him As surely as the sun rises.

HE WILL APPEAR.He will come to us like the winter rains. Like the spring rains that water the earth"

"Even now, declares the Lord.

"RETURN TO ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART

With fasting and weeping and mourning

Rend your heart and not your garments

Return to the Lord your God

For He is gracious and compassionate

Slow to anger and abounding in love

And He relents from sending calamity

Who knows He may turn and have pity and leave behind a blessing Therefore:

"Blow the trumpet in Zion

Declare a holy fast

Call a sacred assembly

Gather the people"

"Consecrate the assembly, bring together the elders, and Gather the children

Let the priests who minister before the Lord

Weep between the temple porch and the altar"

Let them say "Spare your people, Oh Lord.

Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn

A byword among the nations

Why should they say among the peoples?

"Where is their God?"

Then the Lord will be jealous for His land and take pity on His people and will reply:

"I am sending you grain, new wine and oil enough to satisfy you fully. Never again will I make you an object of scorn to the nations"

"I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten

The great locusts and the young locusts

You will have plenty to eat until you are full

And you will praise the Name of your Lord, your God

Who will work wonders for you

Never again will MY people be ashamed

Then you will know that I AM your God

And that there is no other

Never again will My people be ashamed"

"For I have chosen this land to be my dwelling place

AND I SHALL HAVE A PEOPLE WHO SHALL KNOW THEIR GOD.

For the Lord shall establish a New Covenant with His people. That in these days:

"I will put my Law in their mind

And write it on their hearts and I will be their God and they shall be My people.

No more shall every man teach his neighbor and every man his brother,

Saying "KNOW THE LORD, FOR THEY SHALL ALL KNOW ME"

"For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin, I will remember no more".

For the Lord shall build His Temple in the hearts of His people,

A Spiritual Temple, not built by human hands but a Temple whose Builder is the Lord God Almighty. And the Lord shall bring His people up to Mount Zion, the dwelling place of their King who is the King of kings and Lord of lords and who has DECREED that the time is at hand when the Kingdoms of this world shall become the Kingdom of the Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign over all the nations of the earth and He shall reign and rule with all His Saints, who have taken up their Sonship position IN CHRIST and unto whom God has given all Power, and Authority to " execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples. To bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron. To execute on them the written judgment"

For this honor have all the Saints . For the Lord has declared:

"Why do nations rage and the people plot a vain thing?"

"The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His anointed saying:

"Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us" but

"He who sits on the throne in heavens shall laugh and the Lord shall hold them in derision.

Then He shall speak to them in His wrath and distress them in His deep displeasure and have declared:

"Yet I have set MY King on MY Holy Hill of Zion and declare the DECREE the Lord has said to me" You are My Son, today I have begotten you. Ask of ME and I will give you the nations for your inheritance and the ends of the earth for your possession".

"You shall break them with a rod of iron, you shall dash them to pieces like potters vessel".

Therefore you peoples of the land receive the counsel and admonition of the Lord:

"Now therefore, be wise, O kings, rulers. Be instructed you judges of the nations.

Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son lest He be angry and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little".

The Lord is calling His people and the nation to genuine repentance. The Lord will bring this nation to the foot of the Cross, The cry of the Heart of God The Father is "RETURN UNTO ME ". The voice of the Spirit of John Baptist is heard in the land "Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand. Prepare ye the way of the Lord." The voice of the Bridegroom wooing His Bride into the secret chamber is heard in the land "Come Up Higher". We have come to the close of the age and the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has entered into a time the Bible calls the "Fullness of Time". A time when every Word of God shall be fulfilled, every promise, every prophetic word, every prophesy, godly visions and dreams are coming to past. This nation has arrived at its prophetic destiny, the Church and God's people in this hour must arise to align themselves with heavens plans and purposes and hear what the Spirit of God is saying to the Church this hour. Let those who have an ear hear what the Spirit of God is saying.
